　　On January 21st, Vega Power held an India-made 4000 series engine launch conference at the Shunde headquarters. The event invited Perkins representatives and many OEMs from Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi and other places to participate.

　　On the day of the event, Vega General Manager Lei Lichang gave a speech, and then witnessed by the Vega team and OEMs, Mr. Lei and Perkins' Daniel Bentley unveiled the 4000 series engines made in India. The Vega team prepared an Indian-made 4000 series engine on site for OEMs to observe on site, allowing OEMs to have a more true and in-depth understanding of Indian-made engines. Then, the Vega team led the OEMs to visit Vega’s headquarters, prepared a display wall material on site, and introduced various departments of Vega in the form of booths. The sales representative introduced to the OEMs the workflow of sales administration, the Vega engine warehouse and the parts warehouse, and also introduced the Perkins EP project, industrial machine application project, marine application project and gas application project, as well as Vega’s multiple applications The project meets the needs of various OEMs. Representatives of the after-sales network department introduced the functions of the department, the functions of the Vega branch, the development of service agents, and the engine replacement cases handled by the branch area and engineering cases in plateau areas. The headquarters and each branch coordinate the service agency companies in their respective regions. Representatives of the after-sales customer service department introduced maintenance, warranty services, extended warranty services and professional training, and the after-sales service was timely and effective. Representatives of the Parts Department showed how to distinguish the authenticity of Perkins parts, and also introduced Perkins original heavy-duty oil and long-lasting antifreeze coolant to meet customer needs. The representatives of Safety and Environmental Management (ESH) introduced Vega’s ESH system and safety concepts to the OEMs present. Vega ensured that all employees work in a safe environment. The visit to the Vega headquarters and the professional services of the Vega team gave OEMs a deeper understanding of Vega and more confidence in the Vega team.

Perkins Andrew Bradbury introduced the situation of the Indian production base to the guests present. Perkins India production reached the international production level, and used 4008-30TAG as a case to introduce in detail the excellent performance, cost-effective and durable operation of the 4000 series made in India. Excellent power-to-weight ratio and mechanical efficiency and greatly improved emissions. The 4000 series engines produced in India will continue Perkins' strict production requirements and pursue better performance. The 4000 series engines produced in India will be more competitive.
