At the beginning of 2012, Perkins announced the construction of a 4000 series engine factory in India. Construction began in August 2012. Production facilities began to be installed in July 2013. Employees were recruited and trained in April 2014. Process verification was completed in June 2014. Perkins ushered in the first batch of engine production tasks at the Aurangabad plant in India, marking the official commissioning of the Aurangabad production facility in India, and will provide customers in Asia including China with more diversified quality in the future Power solution selection.

Natural gas will become the main source of power generation in the future
